How credits work
Free accounts receive 50 starting credits once at signup. These credits do not refill each month.
Rendering charges vary with the model, resolution and, for some engines, processing time. Upscaling uses additional credits. The app shows your remaining balance.
Allow for retries and edits when planning a project. A credit balance does not represent a fixed number of finished images.
Applying a selection in the Editor
Midjourney's Editor documentation describes Smart Select with include and exclude points. Apply the selection with an erase action before submitting the edit. Layers let you work with additional images, while a whole-image retexture follows a different route from a selected-area change.
In Rendero, select a scene segment and use the available prompt and reference controls to guide its appearance. Check the boundary before rendering, especially where a wall meets glass, trim or vegetation. After the edit, inspect those junctions in the full image and at a close crop. Rendero's engine and resolution choices depend on your plan.
Check the Editor version and image visibility
With Midjourney V8.X, Editor creations can appear to other members unless Stealth mode is enabled. Its documentation describes different behavior for externally uploaded images in earlier versions. Read the image-history and visibility section for the version you use before uploading a project image.
For a material study, keep the source image and record the selected area, prompt, model and number of attempts. This lets you compare the work required to reach an acceptable edit. Neither a mask nor a segment guarantees that every generated architectural detail matches the design.
